Vijaychandra began his academic career in 2017 at Sri Sivani College of Engineering and has been a full-time Assistant Professor at Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology since 2020. He has taught diverse courses such as Electrical Circuits, Power Electronics, Microprocessors & Microcontrollers, Neural Networks, Artificial Intelligence Techniques, and Electromagnetic Field Theory. His research contributions span AI-based MPPT algorithms, electric vehicle optimization, power system estimation, and inverter design. He has published 10+ SCOPUS-indexed journal articles and several IEEE conference papers and book chapters with Springer and Taylor & Francis. He has also authored the book “Fundamentals of Artificial Neural Networks” and holds a Canadian copyright for work on distributed wind energy systems. Vijaychandra has also delivered invited lectures and actively participates in national and international conferences. His extensive project experience includes solar buggy design, ANN modeling, and hybrid energy system simulations, underscoring his applied research expertise.
๐ Awards and Honorsย
Vijaychandra has been recognized with several awards for his scholarly and mentoring contributions, including the Best Reviewer Award at ICDSAI 2023 and a Certificate of Excellence in Peer Reviewing by B P International in 2024. He was ratified as an Assistant Professor by JNTUK, Kakinada in 2022 and selected as an AICTE-sponsored GATE tutor. His mentorship has led students to win national-level paper presentations and awards across premier institutes like NIT Raipur, IIT Tirupati, and NIT Srinagar. Vijaychandra has established himself as a dedicated educator and researcher whose innovative teaching strategies, ICT-driven learning modules, and active engagement with students have won widespread appreciation within the academic community.

Vijaychandraโs research interests lie in renewable energy systems, smart grid integration, power electronics, optimization techniques, artificial intelligence, and neural networks in electric vehicle charging systems. His recent work includes battery management systems, ANN-based MPPT algorithms, and the development of multilevel inverters for solar PV systems. He actively explores metaheuristic and machine learning algorithms like Cuckoo Search, Resilient Backpropagation, and Aquila Optimization for improving the performance of grid-connected systems. His projects bridge the domains of AI and electrical engineering, offering solutions for real-world challenges such as power quality enhancement, smart control, and efficient energy harvesting. With multiple conference publications, SCOPUS book chapters, and accepted research pending publication, he is shaping the next generation of intelligent energy systems. His ongoing doctoral research is expected to result in further high-impact contributions to AI-based control for sustainable energy technologies.
