My academic journey has been marked by excellence, starting with a stellar performance in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC), where I secured 92% and 88.9%, respectively. Pursuing my passion for Biochemistry, I earned my B.Sc. (Hons) from Asutosh College, University of Calcutta, with an impressive 84%, ranking second in the university and first in the college. This success continued into my M.Sc. in Biochemistry at the University of Calcutta, where I secured 84.3%, leading the merit list.
Ph.D. Pursuit and Research Work Experience 🎓🔬
Venturing into the realm of Biological Sciences, I pursued my Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. My Ph.D. thesis, titled “Deciphering the role of spermidine in Salmonella Pathogenesis,” under the guidance of Prof. Dipshikha Chakravortty, was awarded in December 2023, showcasing my commitment to cutting-edge research.
I gained practical experience as a Summer Trainee at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata, further honing my research skills.
