Dr. Siraj Yousuf Parray is a Sr. Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Govt. Degree College Kilam, Kulgam, Kashmir. He has 16 years of teaching experience and specializes in wetland ecology, environmental conservation, and plant sciences. As a Consultant Botanist at The Himalayan Ecological and Conservation Research Foundation, he actively contributes to ecological research. His Ph.D. from the University of Kashmir (2024) focused on the ecology and economic evaluation of Dal Lake. With multiple research papers, books, and conference presentations, Dr. Parray has made significant contributions to limnology, heavy metal contamination, and wetland biodiversity.
