July 2021 – July 2024 Supervisor: Dr. Bunil Kumar Balabantaray, Assistant Professor PhD Thesis Overview: My research focuses on the development of robust deep learning models to prevent the spread of obscene content, particularly for the safety of women and society. This work is crucial in combating cyberbullying, enhancing cyber security, and preserving a secure digital environment. Effective obscenity detection is essential for upholding ethical standards and fostering responsible online interactions. The research aims to create automated models capable of classifying, detecting, and segmenting obscene content within social media platforms.

Prestigious Raman Charpak Fellowship by the Government of India, Department of Science and Technology (DST), and Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR) at LITIS, UNIVERSITE DE ROUEN NORMANDIE, NORMANDY, FRANCE. Institute Best Early Researcher Award at the fourth research conclave 2023 at the National Institute of Technology Meghalaya.
