Surapon Nochaiwong earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Chiang Mai University, Thailand. Currently holding an academic position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Care, Faculty of Pharmacy, he is also the founding Vice Head of the Pharmacoepidemiology and Statistics Research Center (PESRC) at Chiang Mai University.

Since joining the Faculty of Pharmacy in 2012, Nochaiwong has actively contributed as a young scientist and principal investigator on over 10 extramurally funded local and national grants. He has an impressive publication record with more than 50 manuscripts and conference abstracts, accumulating over 800 citations in the international scientific community. His research interests span clinical epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, patient-reported outcomes in dialysis patients, and systematic review & evidence-based synthesis in nephrology and dermatology.
