EducationšŸŒŸšŸ“š

Embarking on an academic voyage, I earned my Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune, India. My doctoral thesis, “High-resolution NOX Emission Estimates for India,” stands as a testament to my commitment to unraveling the complexities of atmospheric phenomena. This journey was preceded by a Master’s in Earth Science System and Technology from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, and foundational degrees in Mathematicsā€”M.Sc. from Utkal University, Odisha, and B.Sc. (Hons) from Fakir Mohan University, Odisha.

Passion Unveiled šŸŒšŸ”

Delving into the intricate tapestry of atmospheric science, my research interests are multifaceted. From atmospheric chemistry and air quality modeling with data assimilation to the impact of air quality on human health and agricultural productivity, I navigate through diverse realms. The development of top-down emission inventories using inverse methods and the exploration of intercontinental transport of air pollutants fuel my passion for unraveling the mysteries of the atmosphere.

Awards Illuminating Excellence šŸ†šŸŒ

My contributions to atmospheric science have garnered significant recognition, including the prestigious Best PhD Thesis Award (2015) from the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune, India. The honor of receiving the Best Paper Award (2013) from the International Workshop on Change in Chemistry in Change in Climate (C4): Monsoon 2013 further underscores the impact of my research. The recent accolade for the Best Paper at the Indian Meteorological Society (IMS) Biennial Award (2023) adds another feather to my cap.
