I am Ziba Majidi. Recently, a passionate researcher in Clinical Biochemistry with a
Ph.D. from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), graduating two years ago.
Currently working as, a researcher in the School of Allied Medical Sciences (SAMS)
as one of the faculties of TUMS.
As a clinical biochemist researcher, I have dedicated myself to advancing scientific
knowledge in the field. I am particularly enthusiastic about teaching, combining my
love for research with a strong commitment to education. I believe in the synergy
between research and education, and this dual passion has been a driving force in my
career.
My research focuses on oxidative stress-related disorders, exploring novel protective
strategies with a keen interest in the application of antioxidants for disease management.
In my master’s thesis, I worked on skin cancer and its relationship to antioxidants, and
in my doctoral dissertation project, I focused on the relationship between osteopenia
and antioxidants.
The provisional selection for the Best Researcher Award at the International Young
Scientist Awards is a tremendous honor. I am excited about the opportunity to present
my contributions for peer review and believe that winning this prestigious award could
