Xiang Yuļ¼Œgraduated from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences with a Doctor of Science degree. Xiang Yu is currently an associate professor and master supervisor of the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, Ludong University, and a member of councils of the Shandong Spatial Science Society, the Shandong Geographical Society, the Shandong Soil and Water Conservation Society, and a guest researcher of the Shandong Yellow River Delta Key Laboratory of Ecological Environment. Xiang Yu is now invited to act as SCI journal review experts for several SCI journals, such as IEEE JOURNAL OF SELECTED TOPICS IN APPLIED EARTH OBSERVATIONS AND Remote Sensing(IEEE J-STARS), Remote Sensing, Journal of Remote Sensing, Marine Georesources & Geotechnology etc. Xiang Yu has been engaged in remote sensing research on Marine and coastal zones over ten years, and has undertaken more than 20 scientific research projects at the national, provincial, ministerial, municipal and horizontal levels. As the chief completed person, Xiang Yu won 9 awards for scientific research achievements at or above the municipal level, such as the second prize of Binzhou Science and Technology Progress Award in 2015, the third prize of Binzhou City Science and Technology progress Award in 2013, and the third prize of outstanding scientific research achievements of Shandong Universities Award in 2013. Xiang Yu won the Binzhou Youth Science and Technology Award in 2009, and the title of Advanced individual in Binzhou City Science and Technology work in 2010 and 2012. A total of more than 40 papers have been published, and 20 papers have been included in SCI, including 16 first author/corresponding SCI papers.
