Ms. Samiksha | Metal Organic Frameworks | Editorial Board Member
Ms. Samiksha Painuly is an emerging researcher in chemistry specializing in the design, synthesis, and application of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) and coordination polymers for sensing and photocatalytic applications. Her research focuses on luminescent MOFs, multivariate frameworks, and MOF-based composites for the detection of organic dyes, nitroaromatics, heavy metal ions, and gaseous analytes. She has developed Zn(II), Cd(II), and Cu(II)-based functional materials using hydrothermal, solvothermal, wet-thermal, and mechanochemical synthesis routes. Her work integrates structural design with functional performance, supported by advanced characterization techniques such as PXRD, SEM, XPS, IR, UV–visible, fluorescence spectroscopy, and NMR. She has published research articles and reviews in reputed international journals and contributed book chapters with leading scientific publishers. Through interdisciplinary collaborations, her research advances sustainable materials and MOF-based sensing technologies with environmental and analytical relevance.
