Ahlem Ksouri obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry from Mohamed Khider University of Biskra in 2018, followed by a Master’s in Materials Chemistry from the same university in 2020. She completed her Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry in 2023, with her doctoral research focusing on ceramic materials, their structural and morphological characteristics, and their potential applications in various scientific domains. During her academic journey, Ahlem developed skills in chemical analysis, scientific writing, and computer applications in chemistry, preparing her for significant contributions to the scientific community.

Ahlem’s professional experience includes working as a Chemical Analyst at a Medical Analysis Lab in 2018 and a Researcher at the Applied Chemistry Laboratory, University of Biskra, from 2021 to present. Additionally, she briefly served as a Physics and Informatics Teacher in 2021 before becoming an Associate Professor of Practical Chemistry at the University of Biskra in 2022. Her experience spans teaching, research, and scientific paper writing, alongside practical applications of chemistry in research labs. Ahlem’s current research explores novel ceramic materials and their functional properties.

Ahlem has been actively involved in scientific conferences, receiving numerous opportunities to present her work internationally. Ahlem’s research focuses primarily on the development and characterization of ceramic materials, particularly those doped with elements such as Sm2O3, Ni, and Sb. Her work explores the structural, microstructural, and dielectric properties of these materials, with applications in photocatalysis and environmental preservation. Additionally, Ahlem investigates the photocatalytic degradation of organic compounds using bismuth-based nanomaterials under UV and sunlight irradiation, contributing to advancements in green chemistry and environmental sustainability. Her research bridges materials chemistry and environmental applications.
