Dr. Aleksandra Bazan-WoÅŗniak completed her doctoral dissertation on “Residues of Supercritical Extraction of Plants as Precursors of Carbon Adsorbents” on October 10, 2018. She pursued her Ph.D. in Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań (2014-2018). Prior to that, she earned her Masterā€™s degree in Cosmetic Chemistry (2012-2014) and her Bachelorā€™s degree in the same field (2009-2012) from the same institution.

Research Experience

Dr. Aleksandra Bazan-WoÅŗniak has gained extensive research experience through various international and national engagements. She conducted research at the Division of Physical Chemistry, University of Zagreb, Croatia, from June to July 2023. Previously, she worked at Ƈanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in Turkey from October 2021 to January 2022. Additionally, she completed an internship at the Laboratory of Optical Fiber Technology, University of Maria Curie-Skłodowska, in Lublin, Poland, during July-August 2017.

Professional Experience

Dr. Aleksandra Bazan-WoÅŗniak has held several significant roles in her academic career. From February to June 2023, she worked as a scientific and technical employee on the “Advanced Biocomposites for Tomorrowā€™s Economy BIOG-NET” project, funded by the Foundation for Polish Science. She has been an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, since June 2021, and previously served in various capacities, including at the Centre for Advanced Technologies UAM and as a scientific and technical worker at her home institution. From November 2018 to March 2019, she also served as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań.
