Farzin Salmasi completed his B.Sc. in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering from the University of Tabriz in 1992. He pursued his M.Sc. in Hydraulic Structures at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz in 1997, followed by a Ph.D. in Hydraulic Structures at the same institution in 2004. His M.Sc. thesis focused on groundwater modeling for artificial recharge planning in the Ghorveh plain, and his Ph.D. research explored the hydraulic investigation and physical modeling of stepped spillways, under the supervision of prominent scholars in the field. His extensive academic training has provided him with a solid foundation for his career in water engineering.
