Dr. Serpil Uğraş, born on 10.07.1981 in Kartal, Istanbul, Turkey, is a distinguished pharmaceutical microbiologist. She earned her Ph.D. in Microbial Biotechnology from Blacksea Technical University in 2012, after completing her MSc in Molecular Biology at Balıkesir University. Dr. Uğraş has held academic roles from Assistant Professor to Professor at various Turkish universities, with significant contributions to microbiological research and education. Her expertise lies in microbial biotechnology, bacteriocins, and probiotics. Currently, she is a Professor at the University of Health Sciences, Istanbul.
