I earned my PhD in Mathematics from the University of South Australia in March 2023, specializing in complex analysis. My academic journey commenced with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, where I currently serve as a lecturer in Mathematics. In the realm of topology, my undergraduate work involved exploring bitopological spaces, elucidating distinctions from metric spaces, and analyzing properties such as semiopen, semiclosed, semiconnectedness, semicompactness, and semicontinuity. I conducted comparative studies with standard topological spaces, modifying and illustrating results through examples.

Transitioning to complex analysis, my research delves into h-functions for various planar regions, representing the probability of a Brownian particle hitting the region’s boundary within a specific distance. The application of Cayley-type maps for transforming circle domains added depth to my exploration.
