š Education, Experience, and Academic Achievements:
I earned my PhD in Mathematics from the University of South Australia in March 2023, specializing in complex analysis. My academic journey commenced with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, where I currently serve as a lecturer in Mathematics. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I delved into bitopological spaces, publishing research articles and presenting findings at international conferences in Sri Lanka and India.
My research interests span complex analysis, real analysis, and topology. Notably, my current focus lies in the intricacies of complex analysis. My academic achievements, meticulously detailed in my CV, underscore my dedication to scholarly pursuits.
š Contribution to Research & Development, Innovations, and Extension Activities:
In the realm of topology, my undergraduate work involved exploring bitopological spaces, elucidating distinctions from metric spaces, and analyzing properties such as semiopen, semiclosed, semiconnectedness, semicompactness, and semicontinuity. I conducted comparative studies with standard topological spaces, modifying and illustrating results through examples.
Transitioning to complex analysis, my research delves into h-functions for various planar regions, representing the probability of a Brownian particle hitting the region’s boundary within a specific distance. I extended this study to multiply connected domains, employing tools like the Riemann Mapping Theorem and prime functions. The application of Cayley-type maps for transforming circle domains added depth to my exploration.
My commitment to rigorous research is evident in the multitude of publications, conference presentations, and collaborative projects. I have received international recognition through awards and memberships in professional bodies, embodying a holistic approach to academic and research excellence.
