Dr. Shalinee Dubey is a dedicated research scholar at the Department of Chemistry, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, focusing on materials chemistry, electrocatalysis, and energy storage. Her research aims to develop innovative electrocatalysts for sustainable energy conversion, integrating advanced nanomaterials with electrochemical applications. She has contributed to the synthesis and characterization of various functional materials using techniques including FESEM, TEM, HR-TEM, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, BET analysis, XPS, and electrochemical studies such as Mott-Schottky analysis, Tauc plots, EIS spectra, and cyclic voltammetry. Shalinee has hands-on experience with instrumentation including Pinewave Vertex200, CHI660C, and various furnaces under inert atmospheres, along with proficiency in software packages such as Origin, ChemDraw, Mendeley, Zsimpwin, and Fortran 90. She has guided a master’s student on the microwave-assisted synthesis of γ-Fe₂O₃ nanoparticles for electrocatalytic applications and has published research in high-impact journals including the Journal of the Indian Chemical Society, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, and ACS Applied Energy Materials, with additional manuscripts under review. She has presented her work at multiple national and international conferences, demonstrating her commitment to knowledge dissemination and collaboration. Shalinee’s academic foundation includes an M.Sc. in Chemistry from BHU and a B.Sc. in Physical Science from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, complemented by competitive qualifications including IIT-JAM, GATE, and UGC-NET/JRF. Recognized for her analytical approach, positive attitude, teamwork, and dedication to staying updated with scientific developments, she actively contributes to advancing sustainable energy research through innovative material design and electrocatalytic applications, bridging fundamental science with practical energy solutions.
