Zhanling Li is an Associate Professor at China University of Geosciences (Beijing) with a Ph.D. in Hydrology from Beijing Normal University. Her research focuses on hydrological modeling, drought and flood phenomena, and hydro-meteorological extremes.  Li has led several key projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology. She has published extensively in journals such as Journal of Hydrology: Regional Studies and Remote Sensing. She has also contributed to software development for hydrological modeling.  Li has been a visiting scholar at CSIRO Data61.
