Dr. Ghaida Alrawashdeh is a dedicated researcher and educator with a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, specializing in personalized learning technologies for early-grade education. With a strong background in literature and culture, including an MA from Brunel University and a BA from the University of Jordan, she focuses on leveraging innovative technologies to enhance educational access in underserved communities. Currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston College, she previously held roles at the ADM Institute and Al Falah University, Dubai. Her work integrates human-centered design and educational equity, recognized through multiple prestigious awards and fellowships.

📚 Research Interests:

My research interests are focused on exploring the intersection of innovative technologies and social impact to promote inclusion and equity. Specifically, I am interested in two lines of inquiry. The first involves harnessing technology to support learning and teaching in resource-challenged contexts, with a focus on improving foundational education and access for underserved communities, including reading literacy, numeracy, and coding. The second line of research centers around exploring the potential of smart technologies to promote more sustainable entrepreneurship models to empower marginalized young adults, particularly women.
