Rohan Kumar holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester, where he focused on Offshore Wind Climatology and Energy Conversion. Rohan currently works as a researcher at Uppsala University, where he focuses on developing scenarios for shipping emission reductions, modeling emissions, and proposing high-resolution inventories for alternative fuels. He integrates emission data into climate models to assess impacts on the Baltic Sea region and has worked extensively on decarbonization strategies for the shipping industry.,Before his current role, Rohan served as a postdoctoral researcher at Uppsala University, where he worked on climate modeling using WRF-Chem to assess long-term impacts of shipping emissions.
