🌾Ping Li a distinguished researcher and academician, is currently a pivotal figure in the field of probiotics and lactic acid bacteria at Zhejiang Gongshang University in China. With a Ph.D. in Microbiology, obtained from Zhejiang University in 2009, and subsequent postdoctoral research at Florida State University, USA, they bring a wealth of international experience to their role. Since joining Zhejiang Gongshang University in 2015,Ping Li has been at the forefront of groundbreaking research, focusing on the multifaceted properties of lactic acid bacteria. Their work delves into the production of bacteriocins, vitamins, and extracellular polysaccharides by these bacteria, with a specific emphasis on their application in the food industry. As a testament to their research prowess, has secured numerous grants, notably as the project leader for projects investigating the regulatory effects and molecular mechanisms of bacteriocins on the intestinal epithelial barrier, as well as the impact of lactic acid bacteria-derived metabolites on the gastrointestinal microbiota. Their dedication to advancing knowledge in this domain is evident through leadership roles in various national and provincial science and technology projects.
