🌐 Elias Teferi (PhD) is an accomplished public health professional with over two decades of diverse experience. Born in Yubdo, West Wollega, in 1976, he holds a rich academic background, including a PhD in Public Health from UNISA, a Master’s in Public Health from Jimma University, and a BSC in Public Health. Additionally, he has a qualification in Clinical Nursing from Nekemte Nursing School. Fluent in Afan Oromo, Amharic, and English, Dr. Teferi has a comprehensive skill set that extends to both quantitative and qualitative research.
🎓 With a career spanning various roles, he served as a district health department head for four years, bringing leadership expertise to the forefront. His academic journey led him to a 12-year tenure as an Associate Professor of Reproductive Health at Ambo University. Dr. Teferi has been the Director of Continuing Professional Development for the past three years, showcasing his commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
