Education, Experience, and Academic Achievements

šŸŽ“ Graduating from Northeast Petroleum University in June 2021 with a Doctorate in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, I embarked on a journey fueled by a passion for innovation and advancement in the oil and gas industry.

šŸ”¬ In 2021, I commenced my professional career, focusing primarily on pioneering research in chemical flooding to enhance oil and gas recovery methods. I proposed a groundbreaking technical method for extracting nano flooding systems from oil well-produced liquid, substantiating its feasibility through rigorous testing.

šŸ’” My research delved deep into the micro-interaction characteristics among various elements within porous media, including oil phase, water phase, rock formations, and nano-displacement systems. This exploration led to the establishment of a novel quantitative characterization method for emulsification rates, shedding light on the micro-seepage mechanisms of multiphase fluids in porous media.

šŸ† Over the years, I have demonstrated leadership by spearheading four significant scientific research projects and contributing as a core member to one National Natural Science Foundation and two national science and technology major projects. My contributions have been recognized through the publication of over 50 papers, with 30 indexed by SCI, and the acquisition of 20 authorized invention patents.

šŸŒŸ In 2024, my dedication and ingenuity were honored with the prestigious China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Association Technical Invention First Prize, reaffirming my commitment to excellence and innovation in the field.

Contributions to Research & Development, Innovations, and Extension Activities šŸš€

My involvement in research and development has been instrumental in exploring innovative solutions for the treatment of produced water and enhancing oil recovery processes. A notable contribution stems from the utilization of silicates found in flowback fluids from acidizing oil wells as raw materials for synthesizing nanomaterials.

Using the sol-gel method, we successfully synthesized nanomaterials from acidizing flowback fluids and meticulously optimized reaction conditions. Comprehensive assessments of interfacial tension, wetting angle, and surface tension were conducted, providing crucial insights into the solution’s properties.

In-depth investigations, including displacement efficiency tests and flooding experiments in two-dimensional flat cores, unveiled the mechanisms underlying enhanced oil recovery facilitated by nanoparticles. Our findings demonstrated that nanoparticles with a diameter of 351 nm could be effectively extracted and synthesized from acidizing flowback solutions at low pH levels.

The synthesized nanoparticles exhibited remarkable properties, altering interfacial properties between oil and water, thus enhancing recovery rates. At an injection concentration of 300 mg/L, significant reductions in water cut, up to 27.16%, were achieved, with subsequent water flooding yielding a recovery rate of 32.25%.

By advocating for the strategic elevation of nanoparticle injection concentrations derived from acidizing flowback fluids, we have paved the way for efficient oil and gas resource development. Our research outcomes not only present a novel method for treating oilfield wastewater but also offer promising avenues for advancing oil recovery technologies. šŸŒŠšŸ›¢ļøšŸ”¬
