💼 Experience

Currently serving as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at IIT Roorkee (Apr 2024–present), Dr. Sardana previously worked as a Research Associate at IIT Roorkee (Jan–Mar 2024).  She was an Assistant Professor at K.R. Mangalam University (Jul–Dec 2023), where she taught mathematics to undergraduate and postgraduate students.  Her foundational research experience stems from her role as Doctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant at NIT Delhi (Aug 2019–Jun 2023), engaging in teaching and advanced climate modeling. Rohan Kumar holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Manchester, where he focused on Offshore Wind Climatology and Energy Conversion. He was awarded the prestigious Overseas Research Scholarship by the Government of India for his doctoral studies. Rohan currently works as a researcher at Uppsala University, where he focuses on developing scenarios for shipping emission reductions, modeling emissions, and proposing high-resolution inventories for alternative fuels. He integrates emission data into climate models to assess impacts on the Baltic Sea region and has worked extensively on decarbonization strategies for the shipping industry.,Before his current role, Rohan served as a postdoctoral researcher at Uppsala University, where he worked on climate modeling using WRF-Chem to assess long-term impacts of shipping emissions.
