Fasika Wondimu Gelu | Numerical Analysis | Best Researcher Award

Assist Prof Dr. Fasika Wondimu Gelu | Numerical Analysis | Best Researcher Award

Dr. Fasika received his Ph.D. on December 28, 2023, from Jimma University, Ethiopia. He joined Dilla University, Ethiopia, in 2015 as a lecturer and currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Mathematics. Dr. Fasika was thematic leader at the College of Natural and
Computational Sciences, Dilla University, Ethiopia. Dr. Fasika’s research is focused on numerical methods for singularly perturbed ordinary and
partial differential equations as well as numerical solutions to initial value problems. His research involves numerical experiments using finite difference, finite element, and spline approximations for parameter-sensitive differential equations. He published about 11 research
articles in national and international journals and supervised 5 M.Sc. students under his supervision. He also acted as an external examiner for M.Sc. theses from local as well as foreign institutions. Some of his accomplished and ongoing well-funded research projects include the development of efficient numerical methods for singular perturbation problems. Dr. Fasika is looking for a postdoctoral position abroad right now. I am looking for potential collaborators.
