Dr. Islem Yangui holds a PhD in Biological Engineering from the National Research Institute for Rural Engineering, Water and Forests of Tunisia (INRGREF), completed between 2015 and 2019. His doctoral research focused on Biscogniauxia mediterranea, a pathogenic fungus of Quercus suber L., emphasizing morphological, molecular characterization, and biocontrol strategies. Prior to his PhD, he earned an engineering degree in Industrial Biology from the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology of Tunisia (INSAT) in 2014.

From January 2021 to October 2022, Dr. Yangui served as an Adjunct Professor at the Higher School of Agriculture of Kef, Tunisia, where he taught Plant Physiology. Previously, from January 2021 to April 2021, he held a similar position at the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology of Tunisia (INSAT), teaching Biostatistics, Plant Physiology, and Valorization of Bioresources.
